Let’s all remind ourselves that we learned from the 12 Step Program that there is a fundamental principal of Cause & Effect behind our Acting Out. This is based on the Vicious Cycle that leads to the Pain that causes us to turn to our Drug of Choice. And therefore,6 if we can learn how to lower the amount of pain we experience in life, then we can reduce or eliminate our need to act out.
